Throughout her time as a resident and business owner in Central Florida, Darlene Spezzi supports local organizations, services and charities that contribute to her community. Every year through donations of materials, money and volunteer time, Mystic gives back to Central Florida. Mystic has donated stone for memorials to fallen firefighters, provided stone counters to a renovated Hospice facility, and participated in auctions that support efforts to cure breast cancer and heart disease.

The memorial consists of a granite base decorated with a bronzed set of firefighting gear.
